BESTeam Feature - Our Home to Yours

Our Home to Yours is a "mother/daughter" team operation. They love to create, and the shop is an outlet where they may make some money doing what they love best!

Debbi (the mom) is a "professional" mother. I have biological kids, foster kids, and a newly adopted kid. Art is her stress reliever and favorite hobby. Her mother was an exceptional artist and Debbi only hopes to be half as good as she was. She is thrilled and proud to be having this shop with her own artist daughter.

Amanda (the daughter) is a stay at home mom of a toddler and life is never dull. She has a Bachelors in Graphic Design and is currently in a Masters program. Fine Art is her background and hopefully she will be able to offer her drawings for sale along with her crafts one day.

I know Christmas is over...but I have been listening to Christmas songs on the radio since Thanksgiving...so it is a little hard to let go of the Christmas season and I just couldn't help noticing the adorable Christmas items left in their shop (which just happen to be 50% off)

This cowl looks so warm and cozy, you just might have to beat me to their shop!

BESTeam Feature - Off the Wall Expressions

Merry Christmas!!

The year has flown by, not to mention December?!?  And it is Christmas once again.  I love this time of year....I have been listening to Christmas music on the radio since Thanksgiving and it always makes me so sad when on the 26th the radio station goes back to regular music.  Anyway...trying to enjoy the last little bits of Christmas...and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and  a Happy New Year in 2011!

This week I am featuring Off the Wall Expressions.  Off The Wall Expressions is a vinyl lettering and wall art design company. A husband and wife design team specializing in high quality vinyl graphics for the home and business.  Mick has been a designer of signs, graphics, catalogs and everything in between for over 20 years. And Tina is the idea person, blogger, order packer, e-marketeer and corresponder. They even put their kids to work helping out when they aren't busy playing sports, music or video games.

Here are just a few of the ones that I liked from their shop....course there are so many it is hard to choose...you definitely need to check it out for yourselves!!

BESTeam Feature - Mystic Wynd

This week I get the pleasure of featuring our group (BESTeam)  leader, Karen, Mystic Wynd.  Hopefully I will do her shop justice :-)

Karen was born and raised in the Windy City (Chicago, IL), and was fortunate to have grown up in a culturally diverse, ethnically rich, "neighborhood" where everyone knew everyone else.  Where they were able to keep their doors unlocked, girls actually couldn't wait until their Moms or Grandma or Aunt Sally taught them to crochet or knit or do any of the other handcrafts that used to be passed on from one generation to the next.

Times have changed...and Karen now lives in Arizona - and is a mom to 3 great kids, 3 great stepkids and 6 adorable grandkids and she still loves to do all those crafts she learned as a child.  Jewelry is her current passion, and she hopes that people enjoy her designs. And since she does like variety, you will see her adding other items as well in the not-too-distant future!

Here are some items that caught my eye!  To see more of Mystic Wynd's creations check out her shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/mysticwynd or check out her blog at http://mysticwynd.blogspot.com/

BESTeam Feature - Little Peach Fuzz

Little Peach Fuzz is the creation of Rachel, who is a newly wed (married less than a year...still counts!) and a fairly new crafter.  She has drawn for many years and is currently teaching herself to knit (as a self taught knitter myself, I love hearing about other knitting adventures!).  She also started making jewelry because of her little sister, who seems to love the idea of having Rachel at her disposal :-)  With that being said, Rachel actually really enjoys making jewelry and it has become one of the calming things in her life at the moment.

With the holidays upon us I couldn't help but pick out some festive holiday items from her shop.
